*UNSUSPECTING GRAVITY*
(I wrote this poem in 2012 when my mother was destroying my life in contributing to what it already is)

Don’t let her reel you in
for if you do,
you’re scarred again

As you’ll find
she’ll have won that fight,
since she knows that you
have no might

You’re weak to her
because you’re hers
You’ll speak to her,
she commands your words

You’ve got to break the ties
Turn, run and hide
Resist looking back,
or be brainwashed by
her lies

with few
defenses
to
fight
back
